In our Retirement Home, we offer a variety of accommodation options, including:  private, private deluxe, and private deluxe shared.  Our Retirement Home is suitable for individuals requiring some supervision and assistance with aspects of their daily living. Couples are welcome.

 

Saint Luke's Place offers up to one hour of care and service in a 24-hour period. This includes medication administration, bathing, and assistance with dressing or meal service and housekeeping duties in the resident's room. Recreational and leisure activities are offered as well.

 

Dietary staff prepare meals onsite and serve 3 nutritious and tasty meals, as well as snacks, 7 days a week. 

 

Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance staff ensure that our facilities and resident home areas are safe, clean and comfortable.

Incorporated under the Charitable Institutions Act in 1974, Saint Luke’s Place is a Charitable, Non-Profit seniors’ residential facility located in Cambridge, Ontario. Saint Luke’s Place first opened its doors in 1976. We offer care and services to our Long-Term Care residents, to our Retirement Home residents, and to the tenants in our Independent Apartments. We are also an active member of the Ontario Association of Non-Profit Homes and Services for Seniors (OANHSS).

In our Retirement Home, we offer a variety of accommodation options, including: private, private deluxe, and private deluxe shared. We are licenced through the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority. Our Retirement Home is suitable for individuals requiring some supervision and assistance with aspects of their daily living. Couples are welcome.

Saint Luke's Place offers up to one hour of care and service in a 24-hour period. This includes medication administration, bathing, and assistance with dressing or meal service and housekeeping duties in the resident's room. Recreational and leisure activities are offered as well.

 

Should a resident require increased care, staff will endeavour to have Home Care provided. In the event that the individual requires transfer to long term care, staff will refer the resident or family to the Community Care Access Centre for assessment and completion of the necessary paperwork.

• A private family dining room which may be reserved at no charge

Retirement Homes are operated by licensees, such as Saint Luke’s Place, which provide an offering of care services to people who may require some supervision and assistance with aspects of their daily living.

 

Retirement Homes do not receive any public or government funding subsidies towards the accommodations or care services offered. Retirement Homes maintain their own schedules of accommodation rates and fees, and also maintain their own waitlists.
