Welcome Home
About the Welcome Home Capital Campaign
A critical step forward!
Through an agreement with Saint Luke's United Church, Saint Luke's Place has acquired land adjacent to our existing campus. This will allow for construction of our new long term care build with minimal disruption to our current residents.
This build is a partnership between Saint Luke's Place, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and the community. With the land secure and the Ministry support, plans for the redevelopment of the long term care home are one step closer to reality.
We are in the final stages with the Ministry and our expansion of new long term care beds will change the lives of families who are searching for much needed care and services for their loved ones.
The pandemic has exposed an enormous gap in healthcare for the elderly, and our Welcome Home Capital Campaign is part of the solution and more urgent than ever.
As a charitable not-for-profit organization, Saint Luke’s Place relies upon the generosity of our Community. We are welcoming the support of our community by way of donations and pledges from individuals, families, local service clubs, and the business community as well as from various community fundraising events, planned giving, bequests, and memorial donations.
