Paul O’Krafka

Paul O’Krafka has lived in Hespeler and Puslinch Lake, Ontario for over 70 years. Paul was granted an Administrator’s Certificate from McMaster University and authorized as a Long-Term Care Administrator by the Ontario Minister of Community & Social Services in 1983. He graduated with an Honors B.Comm. (1974), and a M.B.A. from McMaster specializing in Health Sciences (2001). He has a Health Services Management (HSM) Certificate from the Canadian College of Health Service Leaders (1986). Paul began working in Long-Term Care (LTC) at Saint Luke’s Place in 1976 and has led seven different Not-for-Profit LTC Homes across Ontario. As CEO of St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas 1987-2010, he led the fundraising for, and rebuilding of, a 378-bed LTC facility and two life lease buildings. Paul was the President of OAHNSS (now AdvantAge Ontario) in 1990-91 and volunteered on their Board for over 30 years. He joined the Saint Luke’s Place Board of Directors in 2013 and now chairs the Board Fundraising Committee.
