Saint Luke’s Place is big smiles from the Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign!
Cambridge franchise Tim Hortons owners and the community came together from November 18 to 24 to support Saint Luke’s Place. The second annual Holiday Smile Cookie Program shared all proceeds between Saint Luke’s Place and Tim Hortons Foundation Camps.
14 locations’ sales supported Saint Luke’s Place, and thanks to the generosity and support of the community, Tim Hortons presented us with a $36,777.88 donation.
“When we received the dollar amount raised during the week, I thought, ‘Wow! That’s many Cookies!’” said Amy Ross, Director of Fundraising. “Thank you to the whole community for working together to support seniors within Cambridge.”
Tim Hortons’ annual Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign beats any campaign that Saint Luke’s Place has engaged in. This campaign will support the purchase of a Rhapsody 220 Bathtub needed to continue to provide high-quality care and enhance safety now and in the future for those we serve.
“Bathing is a time of calm, warmth, and relaxation and involves staff members with whom there is already a level of comfort and trust,” said Sharon Brown, Clinical Care Coordinator. “This new purchase is welcomed by all in the long-term care home.”
