Board of Directors

At Saint Luke’s Place, we always have an eye out for potential new board and board subcommittee members, as we don’t want to miss the opportunity for a good fit. However, please note that we are not actively recruiting at this time.

If you feel you are that good fit we don’t want to miss, please feel free to send your application our way anyway. We will keep your information on file for six months and will review submissions on file first should a role come available. What we’re looking for…

Established in 1976, Saint Luke’s Place is a Charitable, Non-Profit, Accredited Long-Term Care Home and Seniors’ Community that became a reality as the result of a desire to serve seniors in the Cambridge area. We gratefully acknowledge our roots as a visionary outreach project by our community, for our community.

Saint Luke’s Place currently consists of 114 long-term care beds, 132 apartments for seniors, a Seniors Active Living Centre, and other services. We are situated on seven acres with a beautifully landscaped accessible pathway encircling our facility.

We are working on an exciting $90 million project that will provide 192 much needed new long-term care beds to serve our community.

For this reason, when recruiting, we look for our volunteer Board of Directors and its Committees to include those persons who can bring their expertise, experience and perspective to this project – specifically, leaders with a background in finance, fundraising, and/or construction. We also accept applications for those who would like to serve on a committee or be part of our fundraising capital campaign but not as an official Board member.

These are exciting opportunities for those who are passionate about supporting health care for seniors and have a strong desire to use their skills and experience to make a difference in their quality of life.
