About Long-Term Care
Saint Luke's Place provides long-term care to 114 individuals in four Resident Home Areas. All admissions are via referrals received from our local Home and Community Care Support Services organization. Basic, semi private and private accommodation rooms are offered. The Ministry of Health and Long Term Care sets rates. Saint Luke's Place aspires to provide the best possible care and service for residents. Services include assistance with aspects of daily living, including medical care, medication administration, recreation, leisure, and restorative care programs, dietitian services and laundering of personal clothing. Pastoral care and social work are also an integral part of Saint Luke's Place's approach to holistic care.
Air Conditioning
In warmer months, our home offers universal access to designated air-conditioning cooling areas, including for all meals, group activities, and independent resident use, and offers in-room air conditioning to every resident, subject to their individual preferences.
The Government of Ontario determines rates for all long-term facilities. The co-payment for a standard room can be subsidized depending on a person's income. We will work with you to determine if you are eligible for a reduction. Click the Rates button below to view current rates.
